My Grandpa's Birthday

My Grandpa was born on April 26, 1949. He has been through a lot in his life. He moved from Europe to North America. He had to sacrifice everything. So once he came to America he found a job   and started working until he made enough money and married my grandma. Once he married her they opened up their own dry cleaning store. Till this day they have that same store. Sometimes after school my sister and I go there to visit. He is turning 67 this year. Even though his birthday was on Tuesday, we are celebrating today with the whole family. I hope he likes what we have done for his birthday. This is going to be a really special one. If you met my grandpa you would know right away that he is quiet but he can do a whole lot when it comes to family. Wow I can't believe my grandpa is 67. I can't wait till he's 70!

My Baby Cousin Nicholas

I love my baby cousin Nicholas. Don't worry, he is not the Nicholas in our class. He is a three year old kid. He is the best baby cousin that you can have. He is very nice and playful. He loves playing with cars and trucks. He is also very interested in basketball. I want to teach him everything that I know in basketball. If he learns and masters everything that I teach him, he can probably be as good as me. I cant wait till he gets older because I'm planning to do a lot of activities with him. I really want to take him camping because I love camping and I want him to love too. I love my baby cousin and I cant wait till he gets older. This is my baby cousin Nicholas.

The Armenian Genocide

Last Sunday was April 24th. April 24th is probably one of, or the worst day in Armenian history, or shall I say wirld history. On April 24th, 1915, the Turks from the country of Turkey came and killed 1.5 million Armenians for pretty much no reason. Once the Turks did that they took most of Armenia's land. Today Armenia is one of the smallest countries on earth. Fourteen Armenia's can fit in the state of California. That's how small Armenia is. Last Sunday was the 101th year anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Every year, thousands of Armenians gather up some where and walk 12 miles to the Turkish Consalate and protest against Turkey. Today Turkey doesn't admit that there was a genocide, but deep down they know that there was. If you watched the news Sunday you would have heard all about the Armenian Genocide. The Genocide happened during World War 1. The Genocide gets very emotional to my family and I because all of my ancestors died during the Genocide except for this one person named Haig Pakhchanian (I am named after him). He was a general that was my great-great grandpa. I have actually seen pictures of him. He looked really cool. Anyway this was my input on the Armenian Genocide.

My Favorite Video Game

As you guys might know, my favorite video game is Nba 2k16. I like that game because it has to do with basketball. I am actually very good at that game. There is this feature called my career where you make your own player and you try to make your player the best he can be. My player is actually really good. He plays for the Houston Rockets. He is currently in the NBA finals against the Clevland Caviliers. His name is obviously Haig Pakhchanian. He averages about 30points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds a game. He is a point guard from UCLA. I hope he ends up winning the finals because it will be a huge accomplishment in his NBA career. This is my favorite video game.
